Marianne S. Pantalon, PhD
Founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Marianne helps senior leaders surface what is operating below the surface and turn it into clearer agreements, courageous conversations, and shared follow-through.
Go where others stop.
The first explanation is not always the whole explanation. Marianne helps leaders pause before a conclusion hardens into a story, a judgment, or a decision.
She pays attention to the assumptions, fears, relationship patterns, and unspoken agreements that may be shaping what a team can see and say. Once those forces become visible, leaders have more choice about how they respond.
For Marianne, accountability works best when it creates clarity and responsibility without stripping away care. That means naming what is happening, staying curious about what has not yet been understood, and building agreements people can actually keep.
When the real issue has not been named yet.
Marianne is especially useful when leaders know something important is happening but have not found a productive way to understand it or address it.
The team senses a problem but keeps working around it.
Trust, conflict, power, or an unspoken agreement is shaping the work even though it rarely enters the formal conversation.

The message matters, the relationship matters, and neither bluntness nor silence will produce the outcome the organization needs.
Explore Executive CoachingAccountability has become associated with fear or blame.
People protect themselves, wait to be told, or hide useful information because accountability feels punitive instead of shared.

Leaders understand what should change, but agreements, practice, reinforcement, and follow-through have not reached the wider organization.

Marianne creates enough space to understand the pattern, then helps people turn that understanding into action.
She starts by listening closely to how leaders describe the problem and where they may already have reached a conclusion. Her questions make room for information that has been overlooked, avoided, or treated as settled.
Depending on the situation, Marianne may use assessment, coaching, facilitation, feedback, instructional design, or experiential learning. The method serves the work. The aim is to help people see more clearly, speak more courageously, and make agreements that improve both the relationship and the result.
Her background as a clinical and consulting psychologist brings depth to the conversation. Her work as a founder, educator, author, and leadership advisor keeps that depth connected to real organizational choices.

Marianne notices where a person or group has stopped asking questions because the current explanation feels complete.
She is often listening for the assumption underneath the assumption, the concern that has not been voiced, or the experience that does not fit the dominant story. That attention helps leaders recover options they could not see while the situation felt settled.
